1. Melt butter in a pot over medium heat
2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute
3. Add rice and stir to coat
4. Add water (2 cups per 1 cup rice), lemon juice, and salt
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low
6. Cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes
7. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes
8. Fluff with fork, add fresh basil if desired, and serve
